Montek LC tablet is manufactured by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Montek LC Tablet is a combination of two medicines. It contains two main components Montelukast (10 mg) and Levocetirizine (5 mg). This combination medication is used to treat allergic symptoms such as runny nose, blockage in airways, chest congestion, stuffy nose, sneezing, itching, swelling, watery eyes, and congestion or stuffiness.
Composition of Montek LC Tablet:
Montelukast (10 mg) – Montelukast blocks the action of certain natural substances called leukotrienes, which may cause allergies as well as relieving the seasonal allergic symptoms.
Levocetirizine (5 mg) – Levocetirizine blocks the action of histamine, a natural substance, which is produced by the body during allergic reactions which are both seasonal and perennial.
